A Colorful Tale, a painting adventure, releases today on Switch

Today during the Nintendo Indie World showcase, developer Finji announced that the paint adventure game Chicory: a colorful tale launches today on Nintendo Switch, which is a pretty pleasant surprise. The game originally launched on PlayStation and PC back in June, where it received some pretty fantastic critical reception, and there’s no reason to believe that the Nintendo Switch version of Chicory will be different! Here’s how Nintendo describes the game in public relations today:

A painting adventure game about trying to be someone, Chicory: a colorful tale takes place in a coloring book world where you can draw on anything. Use your painting powers to explore new places, solve puzzles, help your friends and change the world. Chicory, artist superstar and bearer of the Brush, has disappeared and all the color of the country has disappeared with her. It’s up to you, Chicory’s number one fan, to take the Brush and replace it. It’s a big job, but you’re ready for it… probably! Prepare to make a splash when Chicory: a colorful tale coming to Nintendo Switch later today!
